As we start reopening our practice for eye exams we are implementing recommended steps to your visits with us.

  1. We will ask you to wear a face mask and bring a pen to our office. We will try to have both for those who do not have one, but supplies are limited and hard for us to get.
  2. When you arrive for your appointment, we will ask that you park and call us.
  3. We will do most of the verbal part of your pre visit over the phone. Be ready to let us know if you have any eye concerns that you would like to address with Dr Ossen during the visit.
  4. We ask that you come alone to your appointment. However if a caregiver is needed or 1 adult with a minor child this will be allowed.
  5. Once asked to enter the building we will have an employee meet you and open the door for you. She will proceed to take your temperature, hand sanitizer for your hands and have you sign any documents. Then escort you to the start of your visit.
  6. We will be sanitizing all equipment before and after each patient. We will not be using our waiting area.
  7. The time with Dr Ossen will also not be his usual conversations. Please know that the sign of the times will be limiting the conversations outside of the routine and medical eye care needs for the appointment.
  8. At this time we will not be doing contact lens new wearer instructions. If you currently wear contacts we will be able to give you a renewed contact lens Rx. If you do not currently wear contacts and want to start we will ask that you return for that portion of an exam after we have implemented this first phase and are ready to take on those instructions.
  9. As we move toward reopening and making the environment as safe for all of our patients and staff we look forward to serving your eyecare needs.
